Ecclesiastical Endorsement

Please do not wait until the last minute for your endorsement. When ready do the following:

  1. Fill out the Student section.
  2. Review the CES Honor Code.
  3. Schedule a meeting with a member of the Bishopric.

Note that Until a bishop is comfortable certifying that a student is "is worthy to attend, has been and is now abiding by the requirements, and will continue to abide by them while a student" (Handbook 1, 11.4.4), he should not renew the student's Ecclesiastical Endorsement.

Requirements include church activity and worthiness as well as adherence to the Honor Code, dress and grooming standards, and residential living standards. (see Handbook 1, 11.4 & Official BYU Policy-CES Honor Code)
